Khadim-e-Aala’s More Recent Stunts

Khadim-e-Aala’s-More-Recent-Stunts

Here are some of the more recent stunts played by Khadim-e-Aala.
Yellow taxi scheme – a repeat of his elder brother Nawaz Sharif’s stunt.

Rs. 2 roti scheme – millions of rupees were dumped into tundoors. Beneficiaries – suppliers of atta.

Tent camp at Minar-e-Pakistan to show his sympathy to people of
Punjab against electricity shortage and load shedding.

Any of his stunt brought any relief to people of Punjab. I think a better question would be did you see or experienced any benefit of his stunts? Your answer would be the right answer.

Young Doctors’ Strike in Punjab

Young-Doctors’-Strike-in-Punjab

What are doctors’ demands?
What is Khadim-e-Aala’s (KEA) postion since he is also health minister of Punjab?

What we see on the banners in TV news it seems KEA has promised something but did not deliver. No TV channel has brought both parties in any discussion together to let the people know what is the truth.

On the other hand almost all the TV channels and their anchors are doing anti-doctors activism showing that patients are suffering because of their strike. It is a bias against doctors.

Media should have brought the both parties on the TV discussion and let us learn who is right and who is wrong. This is not the responsibility of anchors to tell us their opinion.

On the other hand it is total failure of KEA’s political and negotiation skills that the situation has reached to this point that KEA has to changed the law to arrest the doctors.

PML-N in National Assembly Budget Speech

PML-N-in-National-Assembly-Budget-Speech

What PML-N did during yesterday’s session of National Assembly was a clear indication of their defeat in the political arena. When somebody don’t have any argument then they use force.

PML-N is the biggest opposition party in the National Assembly but it has failed the people of Pakistan. They could not do anything for the benefit of the people. They started a campaign ‘Go Zardari Go’ but they could not move anything against Zardari. More recently they started a campaign against prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to remove him but all in vain. The reason was very simple they did not know what the people want. PML-N wanted people to support their cause. That did not happen.

People of Pakistan have fed up with PPP government their inability to do anything good to the people. PML-N could not take any benefit of their pain. That is failure of PML-N’s political wisdom. PML-N leaders speak reasonably well on TV shows but it is surprising that they cannot design and develop a strategy to do anything good for the people of Pakistan. That is shameful.

Saudi Arabia – New Plan to Track Expat Remittances

New-Plan-to-Track-Expat-Remittances

It is a common practice in Saudi Arabia that expat are running businesses of their own under the name of Saudi Kafeels because they cannot have their businesses on their own names. So they pay kafakat to their Saudi kafeels. Kafalat is an agreed upon amount  paid to Saudi kafeel every month or on yearly basis.

The businesses include from barbar shops, tailoring shops, AC repair shops to restaurants. Also, in many cases they run contracting business. All these people make quite good money. Legally speaking they are employees of the company but actually they own and run the business. They manage the business and take all the risk. So there is nothing wrong except on papers they are employees.

Now Labor Minister Adel Fakeih has announced they want to curb this practice. They will monitor the transfer of money by expats through SAMA. Instead of going through all this hassle they should legalize this practice similar to UAE. That would increase the business activity in the country.

How Pakistan’s Youth Think

How-Pakistan’s-Youth-Think

A couple of days ago Fareeha Idrees of Samaa TV was conducting her News Beat program in Lahore. Students from a university were invited to question two national assembly members of MQM. One young woman asked a question that at the time of Ghazwa Khanduk Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was among his men when they were digging the trench why Altaf Hussain of MQM is sitting outside of Pakistan and not among his party workers.

The question to this young woman is everything else going on in Pakistan in general and Islamabad in particular is it following the foot steps of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Are our politicians using the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) as role model? These young men and women are the future leaders of this country. Now you know where you are heading.

Supreme Court’s Decision on NRO

Supreme-Court’s-Decision-on-NRO

Today’s decision by supreme court is very disappointing.
On one hand the Court is saying the Prime Minister and President of the country has not stick to their oath. They are dishonest but on the other hand the Court has not been brave enough to pass the sentense on them. That is really sad state of affairs.

What is going to happen on 16th of January 2012. Probably nothing!
