On Friday (July 21, 2017) it was announced that Ch. Nisar Ali Khan will address a press conference on Sunday July 23, 2017 at 5 pm to explain his position on his tense relations with Nawaz Sharif (present prime minister). But today just two hours before the press conference time it was announced that press conference has been postponed till Monday because of his ill health. Earlier it was reported he is sick because of his back pain. Some people in Nawaz League are saying press conference was postponed at their request. What would be the decision by the Supreme Court. We don't know. What we know is Supreme Court of Pakistan has never given any verdict against Nawaz Sharif. This is a matter of fact. Is this time going to be different. Yes, it may be a little different. Not because the judiciary is more independent but people know more than what is presented to the Bench. It is quite some time since Nawaz Sharif made a foreign trip. It may be the time Nawaz Sharif is planning a foreign trip. His normal place of residence is out of Pakistan. Here comes once a while to visit to see what is going on over here. Of course, he has a love for the place which provides him money supply. Foreign Ministry which directly reports to him since he is also foreign minister of the country must be contacting foreign governments to arrange a foreign visit. Applicant's plea is that he is not in good health and fit to fulfill governor's responsibilities. On the other hand governor said he will try to serve all the segments of the province equally.
