Saulat Mirza is Going to be Hanged on May 12, 2015?

Chaudary Nisar is quoted as saying that JIT (Joint Investigation Team) report has been completed and there is no further need of his statement.

Should we believe him? We don’t know either.

If ISPR has made this statement it will be more credible. Earlier it was stated that Saulat Mirza has said again the same things he said earlier in a video. PPP, PMLN and MQM, their leadship and supporter TV anchors started raising this question how and when this video was filmed of a convicted person.

Saulat Mirza’s connection with MQM has been well demonstrated in the TV news and talk shows. Nobody, as of today, has said what about those people who were behind this murder who gave the instructions and who wanted to get this murder done. Nobody said the action should be taken against those people.

MQM would definitely like Saulat Mirza be hanged as soon as poosible so that if anything comes up after his death then it would not be possible to substaniate with his statement in the court.

How MQM’s desire can be fullfilled? Asif Zaradri is there. Asif Zardari is a staunch supported of MQM. If you remember he is one those leaders who condemned the Rangers’s raid on 90, MQM’s headquarter in Pakistan. You know what Rangers found over there. No need to repeat that. In other words, can we say Asif Zardari is supporter of crimanls? You make your decision.

Saulat Mirza’s wife filed a petition in Sind High Court that his case should be re-open and the people who were behind this murder case also be punished.  The court has dismissed her petition.

Asif Zardari can persuade Nawaz Sharif to get this thing done as soon as possible. That soon may be May 12, 2015.

Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are the two sides of the same coin. Shaikh Rasheed (Pakistan Awami League) once said they are both insurnce policy of each other. When Imran Khan’s dharna was in session in Islamabad Zaradri sent a loud message to Nawaz Sharif “be careful lest we both end up in jail”, these were Zaradri’s words.

In this situation to whom you will trust.

One thing we want to clearily Saulat Mirza should get the punshiment of his deed but the people behind this nurder also be punished with the same force.

MQM Should be Treated as A Respectable and Loyal to Pakistan Political Party – Altaf Hussain

Altaf Hussain In a recent address to his followers in Karachi Altaf Hussain said MQM should be considered and treated as a respectable and faithful to Pakistn political party.

I think Altaf Hussain and his followers should ask this question to themselves.

Why Altaf Hussain felt the need for such a wish, appeal or demand. Usually he demands.

Why Altaf Hussain thinks people other than his followers do not believe that MQM is a loyal and faithful to Pakistan political party.

I believe he knows the answer. Then we don’t need to say any thing. And if he does not know the answer then MQM has a bigger problem than this question.

NA-246 Why PTI and Jama’at Islami Contesting Election Separately

There is a reason for that.

PTI and JI tried earlier to come up with one common candidate but later they realized it is not critical for them to win the seat. Why, we will come back to this point in a moment. While it is critical for MQM to win this seat particularly when a lot of evidences of terrorism, target killing, bhatta perchi and lastly big catch of illegal weapons and accused criminals from MQM headquarters at nine-zero.

Other than MQM party leaders everybody believe these accusations are true. Even the followers of MQM also believe their party has been involved not now but from the very beginning in these unlawful activities. Even Altaf Hussain has said more than once in his phonecasts speeches that MQM rabta committe members in Karachi have been involved in land grabbing and other undesirable activities.

There is a case under investigation against Altaf Hussain and other MQM leaders in the United Kingdom for money laundering and instigating his followers in Pakistan to kill their opponent. The case in point murdering of Zehra Shahid of PTI in Karachi.

London police is also investigating the murder case of Dr. Imran Farooq, a MQM leader. So far all the leads are ending up towards MQM.

As it was not enough, Saulat Mirza and Hamaad Siddiquee’s statements which involve MQM leadership in killings and other illegal activities further put Altaf Hussain and MQM leadership in defensive position.

In this situation MQM wants to win the election to show to the public that people (their voters) still believe in MQM that it is a clean party. But that thinking is like MQM cheating itself. That is why MQM thinks winning this by-election will help boost its voters and workers.

On the other hand PTI and JI want to gauge how much dent they have made on MQM’s voter base by rallying for election in NA-246 which is home ground of MQM. And what is the effect of aforementioned incidents and accusations on MQM’s reputation. That will help both of these parties to design their action plans for local government and future parliamentary elections.

An Appeal Against Altaf Hussain in Lahore High Court

Altaf Hussain An appeal has been filed in Lahore High Court today against Altaf Hussain. The petitioner Meher Fiaz, President of Lawyers’ Wing of PTI has submitted that Altaf Hussain is a British national so he can not head a political party in Pakistan. Therefore, he should be prohibited from making and broadcasting hate speeches against  Pakistan Army, other political parties and instigating violence in Pakistan.

The court has accepted the petition for hearing and has set the date April 15, 2015. This is a very important development. Nawaz Sharif and judiciary has to decide whether they should allow Altaf Hussain to broadcast hate speeches, instigate violence in Pakistan and create law and order situation in Karachi. Constitutionally no foreigner can participate in the politics of Pakistan. If he has taken a foreign citizenship then only because he was born in Pakistan does not qualify him to form, head and run a political party in Pakistan. This would be a test case for Nawaz Sharif and our judiciary. This case should also be seen in the context that Pakistan Rangers have already registered a case against Altaf Hussain after the raid at nine zero. This point may be noted that Altaf Hussain does not hold Pakistani passport or ID Card though by British law he can hold dual nationality.

MQM’s Stance on Impeachment of Pervez Musharraf

MQM has decided to side with President Pervez Musharraf (at least for now).

To tell you the truth that surprised me.

I was thinking Mr. Zardari will offer some deal like withdrawl of all cases against MQM workers including Altaf Hussain as a bait to MQM to get their support. Either PPP did not offer anything or MQM stood on its own to do what they thought is right.

What ever is the reason, I think MQM’s decision is right and good for them in the long run. MQM had (and still has to some extent) a little tarnish image. But MQM has their vote bank. They should depend on that and not on temporary benefits.

In the short term MQM may have to lose their governorship and a couple of ministerial jobs in the Sindh province but long run they will get the benefit that they are not siding with waderaaz, religious fundamentalists and right-wing neo-capitalists turned corrupt politicians.

But the most important thing is if MQM thinks that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari want to impeach the president for their personal gains as part of their personal agenda then they should tell this to their vote bank. That is the right reason to stand for.

MQM has always said that they are common people representing common people. So they should always keep that in mind what their supporters would like them to do.

MQM is one of those political parties who has roots in the people.
